Volunteer NOW! for MLK Service Challenge 2012

Are you a leader? Communicator? Passionate about service? Do you want to learn more about Martin Luther King, Jr.? Looking for something to do on your day off on January 16, 2012?

The Office for Community & Civic Engagement is hosting its 4th Annual MLK Service Challenge. Last year, the day featured about 120 volunteers serving over 450 hours of combined service. Sign-up to volunteer using our facebook event!

There will also be a ceremony on January 16th discussing MLK and our history as a nation. Then volunteers will go out and serve their community. Sign-in begins at 8:30am in the University Center. The ceremony will start at 9am.

We provide opportunities for college students to recognize their civic potential and take initiative to develop it. Students enrich and enhance their education experience through active, engaged service.
